The Parents Television Council is hoping to bring an end to nudity-themed reality programming, taking on shows such as VH1’s “Dating Naked,” TLC’s “Buying Naked” and Discovery’s “Naked and Afraid.” The group has been asking sponsors such as McDonald’s to withdraw their support from such shows, all of which are rated TV-14.

“We’re not TV haters; we’re not prudes,” Tim Winter, head of the organization, said. “We’re just trying to protect children.” (New York Post)
