There’s a powerful new movie in theaters about abused teens. Precious: Based on the Novel ‘Push’ by Sapphire, is about a Harlem teen who is sexually abused by her dad and ignored by the rest of the world.
Oprah and Tyler Perry (a Christian who produces movies and TV shows) have endorsed this gritty but ultimately hopeful film. Perry used the opening of the film to make his first public comments about how he was abused as a child.
