It’s been 45 years since Beatlemania first spread across America. Now, Beatlemania is posed for another major strike on Sept. 9. Two things happen on that day:
Box sets featuring digitally remastered versions of all 14 Beatles albums go on sale, and 45 of the Beatles’ best songs make their debut in the popular Rock Band game (which has previously sold more than $1 billion worth of games).
As Entertainment Weekly says: “Maybe Sept. 9, 2009, will soon be known as the day that the biggest band of the 20th century also became the biggest band of the 21st century.”
