Blessed Are The Uncool is filled with lots of research and insight into the sociological reasons we all strive to be cool. This may be why teens or even young adults would
find it difficult to stay interested in this book. With its psychological foundations for why we desire a certain look or attitude, along with the obvious influences of the media and even racial history, the book provides much for an adult who works with youth, but very little for someone with a short attention span.
Addressing issues such as how our churches fight the desire to be considered cool, Blessed Are The Uncool shows how consistency in living our lives by what is in God’s Word is where we will ultimately find our identity.
