This game is a challenging group-builder that is perfect for a retreat or large event. Here’s how to play:
Give two groups an equal-sized stack of books, and provide each group a pair of bookends. Each team must work together to create the tallest stack of books, without the bookends toppling. Books may be stacked horizontally, vertically, opened or closed, or even stacked on end if they can be balanced. Both bookends must be used. (Hint: Think domino-effect and use lots of open air to create a tower approach.) You’ll need plenty of floor space or table top space and a decent-sized pile of books to make this fun and challenging. Set a time limit!
