Editor Brian Singer-Towns brings a respect for the Bible and a quarter-century’s worth of youth ministry to the task of creating a Bible for Catholic kids in grades 5-8. While the result doesn’t have the high-gloss and Technicolor of Thomas Nelson’s popular BibleZines, the hundreds of illustrations and sidebars will help young people experience the Bible for themselves. While many sidebars encourage readers to apply and reflect on key passages, others connect the dots between biblical passages and Catholic teaching and tradition.
