Brookwoods and Deer Run, two camps located in Alton, N.H., 100 north of Boston are conference and retreat centers / resident camps for children and teenagers.
Camp Slogan: “Camping with a Purpose”
Recreation opportunities include: archery/rifle range; baseball/sofball field; basketball, soccer and tennis courts; beach and fishing areas; game room/arcade; horseback riding; nature center; ropes/challenge course; and tubing/tobogganing run.
Lodging: Facilities are open to youth, single adults (upgraded facilities), married couples (upgraded with double beds) and familes (together in one unit). Cabin-, dorm-, hotel/motel- and lodge-styles are available. Summer capacity is 400; fall and winter is 200. Guests are not allowed to use the kitchen to do their own cooking.
