Burning Desire caught me off guard. I found myself thinking about many things I had read in the Bible in a new light — which I absolutely loved. Hill manages to paint a vivid picture of God’s love for the bride of Christ using passages from the Old Testament usually reserved as examples of God’s wrath and judgment. By exploring Jewish culture and tradition he was able to reveal many of the deeper symbolisms often missed by our western culture. Definitely worth reading.
