Christ Eternal Outreach (CEO) youth ministries targets youth and young adults. Led by 20-year-old youth minister Dyamond Johnson, it is a new ministry started on May 12, 2012. This ministry is something beautiful that came out of such a tragic time.
“This was a time in my life when I was on the verge of giving up and walking out on life. God had to isolate me and get me away from everything and everyone in order to fulfill the vision and purpose He always had for me, and this is what came out of it. To me, it’s more than preaching at a bunch of churches. I’d rather go out on the streets and go get and save His children. I do it all for the kingdom and the glory of God,” said Johnson.
Although many would consider her the founder, she calls herself the co-founder because, “It’s was none of me; it a vision God gave and His. If anything, He is the Founder. I take no credit for anything done; all the glory goes to God,” Johnson continued.
Although it is a youth and young-adult ministry, CEO isn’t limited only to certain ages, but its main target or assignment is young people. The reason it reaches out more to young people is because Johnson feels the staff can relate best to this demographic. Dyamond herself started preaching at the age of 16. Since starting earlier this year, CEO has had one revival, attended many events and gone wherever it was assigned. There is youth Bible study and children’s church, as well.
Located in Los Angeles, its mission is to travel and spread God’s Word all around the world by taking one step at a time. CEO wants to help as many people as possible while leading them to Christ at the same time.
“There are a lot of plans for 2013,” Johnson said, “and we just can’t wait to get to them all, including helping and giving back to the community and going out and witnessing.
