“What if we’re not really following Jesus at all?” Mark Steele answers this question in his latest book, Christianish. He discusses the symptoms of hypocrisy, going through the motions and not carrying out our head knowledge. I believe this is one of the most real and down-to-earth books I have read in quite a while. Through his language, stories and explanations, Steele relates beautifully to today’s society.
While reading Christianish, I was challenged with my own relationship with Christ. Too often we find ourselves complacent and satisfied, instead of continually striving for perfection. I also was very impressed with the thought-provoking questions Steele put at the end of each chapter. This is a must-read for all 21st century Christians!
