Christians Are Hate-Filled Hypocrites…and Other Lies You’ve Been Told

Bradley Wright knows how fickle a statistic can be. His doctorate in sociology probably led him across the path of countless figures and numerical reports. Christians Are Hate-Filled Hypocrites is Wright’s response to the many available statistics that seem to tarnish the image of modern Christianity.

Wright specifically provides what he feels are the most accurate statistics available in the realm of young people leaving the church, Christian morality and non-Christian perceptions of believers. His goal for this fairly dry presentation of statistics is that the numbers will do the talking while non-Christians and especially Christians will stop using skewed surveys as fodder for striking fear into the church.

The book is primarily a reactionary defense of the quantitative image of American Christianity with very few real spiritual implications. Readers with a knack for the numbers game will find a plethora of interesting reports.
