Comforting Teens in Crisis is a reference handbook for youth workers passionately interested in enhancing their care and counsel to students in crisis.
In this resource, Group has compiled a host of contributors to provide real-life narrative scenarios, practical tips and Scripture verses to help walk your students through times of crisis. Although the first impression of this resource seems predictable, the categorical organization is outstanding, offering basic assumptions to types of crisis, along with care and counseling tips for individuals and groups.
Whether dealing with sexual identity, abuse, divorce, depression, stress, anxiety and/or other crisis generators, this resource anticipates the struggle and guides the conversation journey toward healthier biblical approaches to comforting teens in crisis.
I’m buying a copy of Comforting Teens in Crisis for each of my group leaders and cannot imagine moving forward in ministry without it.
