Apple’s recent upgrade to Logic Studio 8 is creative software for anyone’s project studio. Offering new features such as MainStage (live instruments for stage performance), Soundtrack Pro 2 (integrated for cinematic sounds or post-production), a new major redesigned interface and improved instruments galore. The price tag is pretty sweet, too — now only $499 (a drop in price by half). It comes with a stiff learning curve, but this software is a lot of value for the buck.
