EcoTeach, a student travel company specializing in life-changing trips that combine conservation, recreation and cultural awareness, has launched a “How Travel
Can Change Your World” essay contest.
The online contest that utilizes popular vote driven by social media to determine the winners.
To participate, students and teachers need only to log onto EcoTeachContest.com and submit a 250-word essary on how travel has or could change the world.
The voting period kicks off May 3, at which time contestants can send their essay link to friends, family and social networks to generate votes. The top five essays with the most votes win. Prizes range from EcoTeach bucks that can be put toward an eco-trip to Costa Rica or donated to the EcoTeach Foundation to EcoTeach prize packages.
