Others who find it heavy-handed easily can tweak the .doc version to their tastes and still get their money’s worth with some inspired activities around important topics. Student handouts are sturdy, well-designed, one-page jobs that mix up the format, but consistently center on the biblical texts.
The studies are tech-savvy, but not distractingly so. Think of the media components as bonus material: a couple of under 2-minute videos and a set of stills per study, a few text-driven PowerPoint slides per lesson, and teaser promo-art for your meeting room and Facebook walls that gets students thinking about how to follow Christ in the real world.
