Eyes of Integrity: The Porn Pandemic and How It Affects You
Craig Gross and Jason Harper
Baker Books, 2010, 187 pp., $15.99
It’s no secret that pornography impacts Christians. Perhaps that’s the core struggle of this book, as it feels like a review of information most people are already in tune with. The authors provide a big-picture view of several aspects of the porn industry, yet any ideas they offer about how to avoid sin come across as quick thoughts instead of well-layered wisdom.
Another area of concern is the insider interviews with porn stars, which could do more harm than good. The intention may be pure, but the details shared may inspire someone who is struggling to go searching online. It ends up making the book feel a bit flashy and not as practical as other books on the topic, such as Tim Chester’s Closing the Window.
