For the Glory is a great story of redemption and purpose. The movie portrays the faith and success of Kurt Kuykendall, and his rise to being a soccer star. For youth ministry purposes, it would have been nice if the faith element had taken a more distinct role in the movie, but it only remained a subtle theme throughout. Nevertheless, For the Glory is a good movie with a good message, as well as a safe flick to show to your youth group on a movie night as it offers talking points for starting conversations about faith.
