In our increasingly pluralistic culture, and with the continual elevation of “Aren’t all religions really the same?” LifeWay has produced an incredible DVD series that includes this volume dealing with different world religions.
The promotional material suggests this DVD is designed for students in grades seven through 12. However, the lessons are suited for small groups and Sunday School classes of all ages. The medium and background music are tightly edited, even a bit “edgy” for younger attention spans. The material that’s presented answers the questions most Christians of all ages ask regarding the major world religions. Each unit runs about 25 minutes.
Volume 8 covers Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, New Age and Humanism, Scientology, Mormonism, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Christian Science and a chapter on other Christian denominations. Also included on separate CDs is a host of printable lesson plans, outlines and study guides.
