This is a fun, yet helpful game that you can use to benefit a local food pantry or other outreach to those in need. This can be played individually or in small teams. Give each teenager a dollar bill. Travel to a local grocery. Then challenge each teen (or team) to see how much food each can purchase with the dollar. It’s all about stretching, finding the best buys, and looking for interesting combinations. This game also could be played by the pound—with the winning teen (or team) being the one who purchases the most by weight. Of course, all of the proceeds of this shopping game go the pantry, so it’s not only a fun game, but a Christmas ministry.
