This Christmas version of the traditional scavenger hunt makes for some fun house-to-house travel and also can connect your teenagers to the wider congregation. Make a list of items people traditionally would have on their Christmas trees or in their homes (i.e., gold bulb, angel, etc.) and include other items such as a mugs of hot chocolate, eggnog, manger scenes, stockings, etc. Throw in some difficult-to-find items such as paper clips or thimbles and you have all the makings of a fun hunt. Visit from house to house, and the first team to record all of these items wins.
