Continuing its mission to make “great music for kids that won’t drive parents bonkers,” acclaimed family entertainers Go Fish return with Party Like a Preschooler, the latest recording from the Dove Award-nominated group. With signature arrangements of 12 songs specifically selected for Go Fish’s youngest fans—toddlers—Party Like A Preschooler is available at retail outlets nationwide.
Produced by Go Fish founder Jamie Statema, along with Darren Rust, the album features 10 new recordings of such familiar childhood favorites as “Do Your Ears Hang Low,” “Five Little Monkeys,” “John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt,” “If You’re Happy and You Know It” and “Pop Goes the Weasel,” among others. In addition, Party Like a Preschooler includes “Jammies” and “Itsy Bitsy Spider,” from Go Fish’s Dove Award-nominated 2007 recording, Snazzy, as well as a brand new bonus track for dads, “It’s Hard To Be Cool (In a Mini-Van).”
The growing line-up of acclaimed children’s recordings from Go Fish includes Snazzy, Splash, Superstar and Snooze, along with the Showtime DVD. The group released their second family Christmas recording, Snow, in 2006.
The Minneapolis-based trio has been covered by such national media as the “Today Show,” “American Profile” and Focus on the Family magazine, among other outlets. Go Fish’s live performances have attracted sell-out crowds across the country, including an audience of 14,000 at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Party Like a Preschooler, a GFK Records release, is distributed by Word Distribution.
