God Is Great, God Is Good: Why Believing in God Is Reasonable and Responsible

Is a collection of essays by renowned academics valuable to youth ministry? For those addressing youth whose journey is beginning, who have not heard “Follow Me,” have not experienced the light on their road to Damascus or are losing faith by living in a popular culture where the media engine simultaneously is silent- superficial- conflict-driven, the insights of this text are a jewel.
Craig and Meister have assembled careful, thoughtful, credible, well-communicated views, which can be used to support, expand and individualize curriculum. These essays challenge and argue the New Atheists (which are tired, weak arguments repackaged in new, powerful and often angry rhetoric).
Youth and their leaders can use this text to understand better that a morally perfect God exists, the joy of belief and why faith matters.
