In this book Dykstra argues that the church still has much to say to the contemporary issues of the world and challenges Christian educators (that’s you!) to take the church’s moral and theological messages and apply them to practical life. Dykstra is admittedly arguing from the Reformed tradition, so this book mainly speaks to those who like John Calvin. This is not light reading by any means but leads you to very deep thought on a number of critical issues that inform the way you do ministry. Definitely worth your time.
