One player from each team is given the name of a creature to act out. If it is a bird, they return to their teams with arms waving as if they were flying. If it is a beast, they return crawling on all fours. If it is a fish, they return with a swimming movement. Then, without making a sound, each actor pantomimes the specific creature for his team. He may nod his head affirmatively or negatively to show the group whether they are “hot” or “cold” in their guessing. When the team has guessed the exact creature- if a person has to act out “gorilla,” for example, it is not enough for the team to guess the word “ape”- the actor runs back to the leader and is awarded one point for his team. The game continues with new players acting out different creatures. After everyone has had as chance to act, the team with more points is declared the winner.
