Players divide into two or three teams. One player from each team comes up to the game leader, who whispers the name of a profession to them. The representatives run back to their groups and, without making a sound, try to act out the professions. (It is best to pick such professions such as “doctor,” baseball player,” “automobile driver,” or “carpenter,” which can easily be pantomimed, rather than nonvisual occupations such as “computer programmer” or “insurance salesman.”) The first team to guess the profession receives on point. The game continues and new players are given other professions to act out for their teams. After several minutes of play, the team with the most points wins the contest.
