Supplies needed for this game include two flashlights (or more for larger groups). Divide the teenagers into two teams, with each team occupying a separate room or space in a single hallway. This game is best played in the dark (think lock-in, overnight, or retreat).
Each team then “hides” their respective flashlight (in the “on” position), hiding it underneath, inside, or behind items found inside the room. Respective teams then enter the other team’s room at the same time and attempt to be the first to discover the light.
This game can be made more difficult by supplying various sized buckets, baskets, or fabrics that can hide a light. The game makes a wonderful lead in to a talk about the light of Christ, or not hiding our light under a basket, but letting it shine for all to see.
