Equipment: Two sheets of newspaper for each competitor
The competitors, each with two sheets of newspaper, line up at one end of the room. They have to make their way to the other end of the room and back again, using their sheets of newspaper as stepping stones. Each player stands on one sheet, lays the other on the floor in front of him, steps on to it, picks up the first sheet and lays it on the floor in front of him, steps on to that, and so on. Any player who touches the floor with any part of his body is sent back to the starting point and has to begin all over again.
