Teams form columns. The turning line is 20 feet from the starting line. Each lead player holds a rubber playground ball or similar object. It might be a balloon, a block of wood, or a beanbag, but it should be the same object for all the teams. On signal, the lead player places the object between his knees and jumps along, feet together, toward the turning line. He may not hold the object in place with his hands. If the object falls, he must pick it up, place it between his knees, and start again from that spot. The first team to complete the action wins.
