In this curriculum for older teens and young adults, participants look together at contemporary issues, events and culture and discover how the Reformed faith provides a lens that helps us sort through the confusing messages and temptations of our culture.
The course includes a 15-session leader’s guide with reproducible student handouts. Each session includes: a one-page background offering biblical and theological insights, a journal that presents Scripture and journal option questions, and a DVD containing short video segments that accompany eight of the sessions.
The journal seems a little disjointed and hard to follow, but the video clips are moving as they present people who have lived through difficult times and may be used effectively with or without the journal.
