This game will require one or two simple, but powerful magnets. Magnetic name tags, as well as magnet sets, would work. A thin sheet of cardboard also will be needed.
Played much like the classical game of charades, each team will take turns removing pieces of paper from a hat (with each piece of paper containing a common phrase or saying). One person from each team will then attempt to spell out the phrase for the rest of the team by moving a magnet on the underside of a piece of cardboard, while the top magnet (or metal object) moves in view.
The team that guesses the most correct phrases in the allotted time wins.
