We hear about these tragedies with increasing frequency. Someone walks into a church and starts shooting. The results can be death, injury and mayhem. An organization called the Christian Security Network wants to help you make your church safer, and it is hosting a series of conferences at churches around the country.
“Churches from around the country are trying to be proactive in making their houses of worship safer and more secure by hosting seminars for their staff and other area churches,” says Jeffrey A. Hawkins, executive director of the Christian Security Network. “They are rural, urban and suburban churches from all denominations and demographics.”
