Q: What was it like recording a Christmas project, and how was this experience different than recording a regular studio album?
A: It was a lot easier to recrord It’s Christmas! The emotion of each song was easy to capture because I grew up on so many of them, so I was already familiar with the sentiment they bring. (It was also different having a lit-up Christmas tree in the studio as I sang).
Q: If you had to describe your new Christmas project—It’s Christmas (Sparrow)—in one word, what would it be?
A: Diverse.
Q: What are you most looking forward to this Christmas?
A: Guilt-free desserts!
