Breakfast: It’s grrrrreat! At least that’s what researchers discovered when they examined what kind of bearing the day’s first meal has on adolescent health. They found that kids who eat breakfast are actually skinnier than kids who skip it. They’re not exactly sure why this is so, but they theorize the extra food makes youth feel better and, thus, more inclined to be a little more active.
