Players sit or stand in a circle. As music is played, a penny is passed around the circle from player to player. When the music stops, the player who is holding the penny is eliminated. The game is played until only one person is left. Large groups may be divided into two or more circles. This game makes for lively action as the concern of each player is to get rid of the penny just as fast as possible.
