Located on 120 southwest of Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN, Prairie River Camp seeks to provide a Wilderness Wonderland Experience.
The camp is affiliated with Youth for Christ and is classified as an adventure/wilderness camp, day camp, and work camp. During the summer, the camp caters to children, teens, and families (members together in one program). Facilities are rented to youth; single adults may enjoy upgraded facilities, and families stay together in one unit. Spring and summer capacity is 75. Cabins, RV sites, and tent sites are available.
Recreational activities include archery/rifle range, baseball/softball, lake/stream fishing, miniature golf, ropes/challenge course, soccer, and outdoor swimming. Guests are allowed to do their own cooking.
