Razor jockeys are sharpening their skills as men are rediscovering the pleasure of a professional shave. The Miami-based Art of Shaving chain, with 25 “barbershop spas” across the country, is planning to open two more in the Washington, D.C., area soon. Hot lather shaves range from $35 to haircut-and-shave packages at $115. A major difference from years ago is that master barbers now use disposable blades instead of bone-handled razors sharpened on leather strops.
