A popular safety newsletter designed to help you avoid ministry-related risks is now available via e-mail.
Church Mutual Insurance Company’s popular risk reporter for religious organizations is now being delivered via e-mail.
The risk management-oriented publication that Church Mutual began in 2002 is sent out quarterly to its 100,000-plus customers. The new e-mail version is available to anyone who wants to subscribe.
Each issue covers current risks that religious organizations face on a daily basis, examines nationwide risk trends and offers solutions.
“Risk Reporter is one of the most popular safety resources we provide,” Church Mutual Risk Control Manager and risk reporter Editor Rick Schaber said. “We want all religious organizations to have immediate access to its contents so they can address issues of concern in a timely manner.”
Topics of the first e-mail version were: preventing embezzlement, safe driving, an alert to fatal accidents, hiring of staff and volunteers and employment practices liability coverage.
In addition to the aforementioned stories, the e-mail version will include the opportunity to leave comments or questions, read about specific insurance coverages and participate in polls regarding safety issues.
