Fields does a nice job of encouraging Christians at any age who struggle with the monotony of a daily quiet time and the guilt that can come if we do not have one every single day.
Fields reminds us that living out our Christian life goes beyond how long we spend reading our Bible or praying each day. It requires actually putting into practice the words we read and study.
A teenager would enjoy the straightforwardness of this book. It doesn’t talk down to anyone and realizes that no matter what age, we all want to grow closer to God and face the same obstacles in trying to do so.
