Shoe in is a wonderful rainy-day game—or a large-event game if you need energy. Begin by inviting the group (or groups) to sit in a circle. Everyone then removes his or her shoes, tosses them into the middle, and one of the adult leaders then mixes them up. (You also can do this mixing between the two groups if you want to make it even more difficult.) Then announce: Each person in the group must find his or her shoes and put them on. The first group to complete the task, with everyone wearing his or her shoes wins. (Note: You can make this more challenging by informing the groups they cannot wear their own shoes, but must find a similar size and put those on.)
