This autobiographical book is the story behind the song “Six String Rocketeer.” The author gives the audience a personal look of living through the divorce of his Christian parents when he was 14. The true story and creative writing style will bless those going through the same situation. For reasons unknown, the author purposely left out the four years of his high school life before he found healing from God. I’m sure those were ugly years for him, but his emotions during the initial separation came through so strong that the emotions of the aftermath before the healing would have also blessed readers. I recommend it.
