Increasing numbers of students care deeply about the threats facing our environment and are committed to making difference, but often don’t know how to get started.
At the beginning of a new year, a recent article gave helpful and relevant advice for teens who are seeking to make “green resolutions.”
The suggestions include:
When you’re done surfing and IMing, turn off your computer.
Put together a cool vintage outfit.
Instead of insisting on driving, catch the school bus.
Get involved with Earth Day initiatives.
Turn off the lights behind you.
Throw away your trash.
Eat less meat.
Instead of buying bottled water, get a refill.
Make your next cup of coffee organic and fair trade.
Earn great grades (Mother Nature needs smart people to help protect her).

How do you address issues of creation care with your students? Do you feel it’s just a trend or a relevant issue of faith and stewardship?
