Divorce is a huge problem—in society and in the church. In the agony of shattered relationships, an often forgotten group is teens. The Big D curriculum offers a 12-week program for helping teens from divorced families process their grief, anger and pain in a facilitated community environment.
The Big D is a wonderful resource to use in a divorce-recovery small group. Smith wrote it after watching her own teens process her divorce, using techniques that have proven extremely effective. The program is well crafted and engaging, though the books could have used more careful editing.
