DLS takes the reader inside the 2005 L.A. Erotica Convention and the four-year journey that has left Gross labeled “the Porn Pastor.”
If you’re searching for the latest version of “10 steps to getting your kids out of porn,” keep looking. Gross takes the time to tell his story and display the very human face of porn addicts and the stars they idolize. DLS does an excellent job of laying out the growing problems facing our culture without being overly dramatic or needlessly graphic. But that doesn’t mean the reader won’t be left feeling uncomfortable or even physically ill.
DLS effectively communicates an important message: The suffocating prison of pornography can only be battled by the hard, frustrating work of genuinely loving people. A good tool for those struggling to minister in this area.
