Since these are devotions for teens, I gave the three books to actual teens of different ages and levels. The overall view was that the devotions were “cheesy” and not really helpful to someone further along in his or her faith. However, a new Christian would appreciate them. One teen got the most out of the devotions when he did them with his mother, finding the included questions particularly helpful. He and his mom read them together, and the simple devotion led to quality discussion. That may be the best use of this book series — whether it is with a parent or with friends.
