The use of mobile and digital giving by churches and Christ-centered nonprofits has rapidly multiplied in the past few years. With 59 percent of all adult Americans now accessing the Internet wirelessly and much of that online activity involving financial transactions, churches and nonprofits are finding new ways for their givers to contribute via mobile phones in addition to traditional online giving via a computer.

This includes developing mobile church apps for mobile giving, optimizing web pages to be viewable and easily accessible from any mobile phone, giving kiosks, and ACH/EFT transactions.

Webinar Speakers
Mark Jones is the vice president and senior banking consultant at Evangelical Christian Credit Union (ECCU). He has worked in the banking industry and at ECCU for more than 25 years where he has developed a specialization in assisting nonprofit organizations to focus on effective financial management. Mark serves as board chair of a rules committee for a regional payments association representing more than 1,000 financial institutions in the western United States. Additionally, Mark has taught nationally and written numerous articles on a variety of topics relating to the nonprofit financial management and payments industry. Mark maintains the designations of CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) and AAP (Accredited ACH Professional).

Cathi Linch serves LifeChurch.tv as its financial operations leader and treasurer and is a member of the leadership team that directs the church’s global missions’ initiatives. Prior to joining LifeChurch.tv in 2003, Cathi practiced public accounting as a CPA and Senior Manager with KPMG LLP.

Atul Tandon, founder and CEO of Tandon Institute, is also an entrepreneur, humanitarian, author and adviser. His work has impacted industries as wide as consumer banking, e-commerce, humanitarian relief and development. In May 2011, Tandon launched a global advisory firm that works with nonprofits and social sector enterprises worldwide to maximize their effectiveness and impact. Between the years of 2000 and 2009, he served as senior vice president of Donor Engagement for World Vision.
