Hi, and, welcome to the new YouthWorker Journal website. YouthWorker has been the leading journal in youth ministry for over thirty years. We began as the brainchild of the grandfathers of modern youth ministry, Mike Yaconelli and Wayne Rice. Over the years, YWJ has morphed and changed. We’ve changed hands, and changed editors a few different times, but our passion to resource youth workers remains at the core of our identity.
Our new website continues our great tradition. On this site you’ll find all our great articles, games, Bible studies, culture tips and other resources. Mostly, we’ve just refreshed things a bit.
We have, however, added one new element: The YouthWorker Blog. Our blog features fantastic youth ministry thinkers (the same ones you’ve read in our print journal), just in shorter form. Keep an eye on our Blog…we’ll be posting content there regularly. (and if you’re a youth worker and want to contribute to our blog…let us know!).
That’s it. We’ll save you the long intro and give you a moment to look around. Check things out. Make yourself at home. Thanks for stopping by.
Tim
