“I was talking with a friend who is also a leader of one of our girl groups. It was our desire to have a get together for an entire grade, instead of just lifegroups…. Each group is a different organism with different personalities, quirks, strengths, and weaknesses. I believe that it is important to continue to build healthy all-grade opportunities of fellowship, but be aware that for some middle school groups, it may be “best for the rest” to keep them in their small group habitat until around 9th grade. If you have observed that two groups don’t mix well and you’ve tried it unsuccessfully then move into different strategies…”
