The Wisdom On … series “is a collection of easy-to-read books designed to help teens apply biblical wisdom to their everyday lives.” Information is presented through case studies, personal stories, projects for life application and helpful insight from the book of Proverbs. Each text presents a biblical perspective and ends with guided responses to hypothetical situations meant to provoke discussions.
These texts are broad in scope and cover a wealth of information on each topic. Incidentally, each topic moves quickly, and there isn’t enough time for depth. Often, they move too quickly and rush through the complexities of some issues in search for the one “right” answer. They may be best used as augments for current curriculum sources as the situations at the end of the texts can lead to challenging and thought-provoking discussions.
