When 11-year-old Caroline Gonzales was named Mayor for a Day for the suburban town of Forney, Texas, what do you think her first official duty was? To balance the budget? Give raises to everyone? Banish Brussels sprouts? None of the above. No, the girl decided to rename a street for Justin Bieber. Why? “Because I really like Justin Bieber,” she said. “I like his music, and I like him. I thought, ‘Why not have a street in my hometown named after my favorite singer?'” Justin Bieber Way promptly became a way of life in Forney…for a full weekend; or it would’ve, had not a group of teens stolen the sign just a few hours after it was erected. A new sign quickly replaced the old one, but that didn’t assuage the anger of Forney’s temporary mayor.
