Yale University officials said Monday it will not install an art project by a student who says she filmed herself inducing repeated abortions unless she includes a disclaimer saying it is a work of fiction. Yale also said an instructor and an adviser made “serious errors of judgment” in letting the project go forward.
The account swept across blogs and media outlets before Yale issued a statement saying it investigated and found her project to be a hoax that was Shvarts’ idea of elaborate “performance art.”
